CAMEROON RUSH SOCCER CEO VISITS CAMEROON

The CEO of Cameroon Rush Soccer,
Attorney Sopo Ngwa has returned to Phoenix, Arizona, USA after spending almost three weeks in Cameroon. The purpose of the trip was to review and supervise the activities of Cameroon Rush Soccer. During the trip, Attorney Sopo Ngwa took part in the finals of the first edition of the Cameroon Rush Football tournament that took place at the Government School Field, Bali Town on Saturday, December 24th, 2011. In the 3rd place game, Bali Veterans Rush FC defeated Lions of Conjah Rush FC by 2-1. The Cameroon Rush CEO actually played for about 15 minutes as a left back for Bali Veterans Rush FC before leaving the pitch amidst a thunderous applause from the 3000 man crowd. In the first place match, America For Africa Rush FC also defeated Rush FC Bali by 2-1. Both clubs play in the NW DII Regional league and the Cup of Cameroon organized by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT). Guests at the finals included Rush Cameroon Soccer CEOs Mr. Charles Boyo, the proprietor of Crystal Pharmacy in Bamenda and Dr. Emmanuel Ngwa of the International Criminal Tribunal in Arusha, Tanzania, Cameroon's U-17 Assistant National Team Coach Ebwelle Bertin, andRush Cameroon Good Ambassador and Cameroon's Indomitable Lion, Mbuta Andongcho. After several meetings with local authorities in Bali, players and coaches of Cameroon Rush Soccer, Attorney Sopo Ngwa also took some time to assist and orientate Cameroon four Rush FC Bali coaches who are currently visiting in the United States as part of the RushConnect and US State Department partnership program. The coaches are Bobga Folabit (Folabo), Dinga Doh(Mourinho), Magaret Egbe and Marie Chantal Abong. Attorney Sopo Ngwa also bought a computer and a printer for the Cameroon Rush Soccer Office at Sonac Street, Bamenda, Cameroon. The Cameroon Rush Soccer Office is part of the Sopo Ngwa Chambers, a Cameroon based Law Firm owned by Attorney Sopo Ngwa who is also licensed as an attorney in Cameroon. The climax of the trip was the launching of the first ever radio station in Bali Nyonga, called Rush FM Bali. The radio station which went on the air of Xmas eve, received over 900 calls from local Bali residents on Xmas day. Most of the calls were Xmas and New Year Wishes to friends and relatives. "I am very happy with the reaction of the entire Bali community to the launching of Rush FM Bali. My people are poor people. Rush FM has already employed a permanent staff of five. This station will greatly contribute to the fight against poverty and diseases among my Bali people. Furthermore, Rush fans from all over the world will be able to closely follow the activities of Rush FC Bali as soon as this radio station goes online, said Sopo Ngwa, CEO of Cameroon Rush Soccer.
